Take the next step in your career and become a Licensed Instructor! This Methods of Teaching course is for licensed cosmetologists, nail techs, and estheticians who want to become instructors.
 
This Board-approved class is required to earn an Instructor's License in South Carolina.
 
After completing this class, you must also pass a board administered exam to fullfull all requirements for licensure. 
 
Methods of Teaching is a 6-week 45-hour course that consists of 6 classes, and is facilitated by board approved instructor Nia Lewis. The total price of the course is $1250.

Can you pay in payments?
Yes! The total cost of the course is $1250. You can split the course fee into 2 payments. Pay a 50% deposit of $625 to secure your seat. Your balance of $625 is due on the 3rd day of our scheduled class.  You will not be permitted to attend class beyond the 3rd class if you do not pay your final balance.
 
Deposits are non-refundable. If you cannot complete the course you signed up for, you can register for an upcoming class in the same calendar year if seats are available. If you do not complete all 45-hours within one calendar year, you will have to pay for this class again.
 
Can this class be offered online?
The Board of Cosmetology has mandated that Methods of Teaching can no longer be offered on Zoom. Methods of Teaching can only be offered as an in-person course. Social distancing is strictly enforced in all in-person classes! 
 
What do I need for this class?
After you pay your registration fee, you will also need to order the textbook below. Please also bring a binder with dividers, a notebook, or notebook paper. How large is the class size?
We like to keep instructor classes small so that we can provide a personalized learning experience. There are only 10 seats available in this course. 
 
Location: 
This course will be offered in-person at my home in the Summerville, SC area. I will send you the address after you register. I live about 25min outside of Summerville.
